Review: All He Needs (All or Nothing #2) by C.C. Gibbs

Brilliant. Wealthy. Powerful. Dominic Knight is one of the hottest tech developers in the world–and the most demanding lover Kate Hart has ever known. Whether in the boardroom or the bedroom, he is always in charge. But there is one thing he cannot control: Kate’s fiery heart…

As a master in her field, talented Kate surpassed Dominic’s wildest expectations. As a woman of uncommon intelligence and beauty, she unlocked something deep within him. Yet since their professional relationship–and erotically charged affair–came to an end, the fire in him has only grown stronger.

Now, the man who has everything will do whatever it takes to reclaim the woman he lost. From Boston and Paris to Singapore and San Francisco, he will lure Kate back into his elite world of privilege and passion. Together, they will test the limits of desire and the boundaries of discipline. For both, this is uncharted territory–naked, reckless, and uninhibited. But when Dominic’s deadliest enemies target Kate, he must face his darkest fears…and admit to himself that she is all he needs.

First of all, let me say if you are looking for passion, this is your book. This is such a sexually charged read and you won’t want to miss the passion or angst. This book just encompasses so much passion between two people that just seem so wrong for each other that they fit each other perfectly. There is truly an opposites attract kind of thing going on here.

The abrupt departure of these two characters in the first book and the loss they each felt afterwards is just something to be savored. Unwilling to admit what he feels for Kate, Dominic will do anything possible to have Kate back in his life. But the big question is, would Kate ever go back?

Dominic is rich, powerful and will not stop to get Kate back. Determined to stand on her own and make her own way in the world, Kate is not moved by money. Sure it’s good to have, but it is not what she is looking for. She wants the fairy tale. She wants the love and the romance and everything that a true love story is made of. And just when she thinks she can finally have that back with Dominic everything changes. And I mean everything.

These two fight like no other. But it is in their fighting that they are the most turned on. They are completely unsaitiable but only for each other. Dominic can have any woman that he wants. The chance of them wanting him for more than his money is slim and he knows it. He can have his needs fulfilled by any woman on any night. But what he wants just seems to be out of his reach. Maybe it is the thrill of the chase, maybe it is the urge of his heart, but he will not be content until it is Kate that is with him in the end.

She doesn’t care about his money, she doesn’t care about his power. Kate wants Dominic but she knows that he may leave her again and this time she is determined to live in the now. She insists that he doesn’t need to return his feelings and she knows that his past is something he would have to overcome to do it, but is that possible?

The endless independent will of these two is just crazy. They are not perfect for each other, they are complete opposites. They don’t have much in common because he has everything that money can buy and she wants the one thing from him where money has no value.

This is a hot and steamy read that has so much potential for more greatness and I cannot wait to read more of their story. No matter how mad these characters make me, I want the same thing for both of them. I want them to have the perfect life. I struggled with the way Kate treated Dominic and I struggled with Dominic’s side dealings that may ultimately cause a world of problems in them finding their happily ever after, but in the end, I just want them happy and together. And that alone kept me reading page after page until there was not another page to turn. I was enraptured by this dynamic duo and want more of their story.
