BOYFRIEND BOOKMARK RATING: ★★★★★
Mae Turney is searching for the type of life and happiness she has never known but has only dreamed about. She’s fortunate enough to find a great opportunity to live in an exterior apartment of a beautiful lake house in a small town in Vermont. When she realizes the apartment and scenery are not the only gorgeous appeal but the home owner, Seth Finn, is as well, she puts it all on the line for the chance at love. When she becomes comfortable and confident in her own skin and sexuality, Mae realizes that this place and this man is exactly what she came looking for. Knowing Seth and his three children are as special as they come, Mae bets the house, and prays she and her gamble are enough.
I am so beyond in love with this book. Three of Hearts, the first book in the Hamden series is a one of a kind read that just captured everything real about an odd romance. Neither of the characters were looking for it, neither wanted it, but something was there and it was completely undeniable.
Mae is looking at a new apartment that she doesn’t have to share. She has been there and done that and now just wants some space. But this apartment was something amazingly special. It was more than she could have hoped for and it was probably well outside her budget. But the lady showing it is pretty convinced that she can talk her brother into allowing the rent to be what is within Mae’s budget, afterall, it’s not like Seth really needs the money and the apartment is part of his house.
Seth’s house is in the perfect location and has a beautiful yard and lake to overlook. This is the perfect place to raise a family, and that is just what he is doing. After losing his wife to cancer, Seth is raising his three kids with the help of his sister, who was living in the apartment and his housekeeper. But things don’t always go as planned and when he sets his eyes on Mae for the first time, fireworks are about to explode.
Mae quickly bonds with the children, but Seth seems to have a harder time letting Mae in. It’s too soon, he’s not ready… whatever… these two are so amazingly perfect for each other. But when push comes to shove and Mae keeps a big secret from Seth about one of his children it is the end of hope for these two. Or is it?
This book just kept me so enraptured in the pages. I wanted everything to work for Mae and for Seth. Both have had a tough go of things and Mae sees the pain all over Seth’s face too often. But allowing herself to fall for the landlord is a tricky mess and could ultimatley end up hurting more than just Mae or Seth. There are children involved…
This book was amazing to say the least. I didn’t want to put it down from start to finish and I am so in love with W. Ferraro’s writing style. I cannot wait to dive into the pages of the second book in the series, Three of Spades! The writing is captivating and intriguing and the amazingly hot scenes were just that!
BOYFRIEND BOOKMARK RATING: ★★★★★
Dylan Cross is the type of man that enjoys everything female, and enjoy it he does, but always on his terms. However, his terms are pushed to their limit when Natalie Parker proposes an offer; teach her and her delectable little body, all about sex and desire. There is one catch. He has to play the part of Natalie’s madly in love boyfriend for her dying mother. Dylan signs on, and finds that separating the two is harder than he thought. Natalie’s days of shyness and lack of confidence come to a quick close as she learns what her body craves and demands in the bedroom. Soon, Dylan becomes the student as Natalie teaches him things he didn’t even know he wanted. Will Hamden’s notorious playboy, bachelor be able to keep calling the shots, or will he find that, he, himself, is just another player at the card game of life, as we all are?
W. Ferraro has done it again with the second book in the Hamden series! Dylan is a playboy. Everyone knows Dylan doesn’t do relationships. He is knows for being a player. And he plays the game with the best of them. Natalie is the exact oposite. Natalie has always sheltered herself from the outside. Taking care of her mother has been her only concern and the one thing that keeps her going. She knows that her mom doesn’t have much longer to live and her mother has made it perfectly clear that she wants Natalie to live a little and find someone that she can take care of and that can take care of her after her mom is gone. But there’s one catch… Natalie doesn’t want that.
She she makes a deal with Dylan in a bar one night, knowing that he is the one that will fill the part of boyfriend and that will make her mom happy. But Dylan knows his reputation and he knows that could be the driving force to comfort her dying mother. But as Natalie soon discovers, she may have placed to big of a bet. it could be the ultimate gamble for both Natalie and Dylan. What was supposed to be an arrangement between the two of them may turn into something so much more and who will pay the price when their worlds and hearts shatter around each other?
W. Ferraro has such a great writing style and in a matter of moments she takes us from self discovery to love and all of the things that go with it. It kept me guessing and wondering what would happen next and because of that I found myself lost in the pages of this book, not willing to put it down until it was completely over.
I always find a book that keeps my attention past the first few chapters is something special, but this book went way beyond that. Dylan with all of his charm and Natalie with all of her inexperience seem to be the most unlikely of couples, but that just made the story so much more intriguing. I absolutely adored this book as much as the first one if not more!
W. Ferraro’s writing has found its way into my heart and I cannot wait for more! Intriguing, witty, hot and full of so much love, this series is a must read and that I will!

Seriously, this series is going to be the end of my heart! I am so sucked in! W. Ferraro is amazing and talented and her books are WOW!
In Three of Diamonds things are certainally shaken up a bit. You just never know what you are going to get inside each book in this series and you can bet, I am NOT complaining!
Lola has a very rigid life. She knows what she needs to do and she is completely in controll of her life and that of her brother, Boyd. Lola hasn’t had it easy. She doesn’t know what it is like to have to rely on others for help or assistance. She took on her little brother when she was just a child herself. With nothing or no one to rely on, she has always made it work. She doesn’t want pity or handouts. She is content in knowing that this is her life. But one job one night is going to change her life forever.
Wes is an architect, but he has a pretty dark secret. He moonlights in a world of erotic sex. No one knows this, not even his best friends. But week after week he finds himself inside Olympus. And after all this time he is not even sure why. And that’s when it happens…
This architect is going to see her eyes, she is going to see his… but their connection is going to go a lot further than Olympus allows. But it doesn’t start in the confines of the club. It takes a special brother and his love of horses to bring Wes and Lola together.
This book was just raw and gripping and did not stop. You think everything is going to go one way and sure enough it shifts and turns and keeps you so on your toes they start to cramp! I love the writing and the wit and the unbeliveable passion within the pages of this book. If I thought the first two books in this series were hot… holy crap, I need a cold shower! This series is just so amazing and to think there is another book to follow! GAH!
I love this book. I love this series. And officially, I love W. Ferraro for giving me these amazing men and their love for women! If you want angst and drama and love and super hot, W. Ferraro has it all written in the pages of Three of Diamonds!
BOYFRIEND BOOKMARK RATING: ★★★★★
Cecille “CeCe” Cervetti lives her life by one rule: Never let a man control her heart, ever again.
CeCe has built a life to be proud of–she’s successful in business, and in lust. Men are her playground, to take from, and use to her body’s content. They can only have what she is willing to give, so don’t try asking for more.
When an unknown stalker raises the stakes, ripping away her hard won control, CeCe reluctantly seeks help from the first, and last, man she gave her heart to before he vanished from her life–Jarod Gates.
As they struggle to unmask the stalker, CeCe and Jarod learn of each other’s scarred pasts—scars that made them who they are today. But when her body screams for Jarod’s touch, can CeCe manage to keep her control? Or will Jarod make her question the one rule she’s built her life on?
This book, WOW! This book, the forth in the Hamden series, is just remarkable. The characters, the story, all of it: just amazing. Being the forth book in the series, i wasn’t sure if it was going to grab me like the first three, I am so glad I was so wrong.
This book took CeCe to an entirly new level that I thought would be hard to do. When Dylan found her in that bar years before, she was broken. She had been hurt and just wanted to escape from her own reality. Vowing to protect her then, he has never stopped. Now that her shop has been broken into and nothing seems to have been touched just a simple gift of white roses left for her, CeCe has her guard up but isn’t willing to let it step in her way.
Dylan doesn’t like it. He is not ok with what is going on and determined to protect her. Using his PI, Jarrod, Dylan is going to make sure CeCe is safe regardless of the cost. But Jarrod is someone from CeCe’s past. He took something from her years ago and then left. That was that. CeCe vowed she would never let another man into her heart again. But now forced to work together to figure out where the white roses are coming from, Jarrod is now faced with keeping what happened separate from the person he is now and making CeCe see that he knows he made a mistake, but that one mistake is what kept him alive when he was in the military.
CeCe can’t deny that Jarrod is still amazing but he hurt her so badly. She would never be able to get beyond her past to see him as anything other than the man that destroyed her heart. With a stalker with white roses watching her every move, CeCe is starting to see her resolve disappear. She needs to stay strong and take care of herself but the attraction between her and Jarrod is just too strong.
W. Ferraro just takes us on a crazy ride with Breaking Spades. A stalker, an old flame and a new flame that just wants more. CeCe has to make some really big decisions that involve the heart. But will she make the right one and will they be able to catch the mystery stalker who is threatening her?
I wanted the super hot Jarrod to end up with the girl so bad throughout the entire book, but it seemed for every step forward he made to make his dream a reality, she would push back that much further. When these two were together they were amazing, you could cut the sexual tension between them with a knife. But you could tell that Jarrod just wanted to make sure she was safe…and in his arms. I fell in love with Jarrod so much in this book and I couldn’t get enough of him.
This book just took a crazy emotional ride that i wasn’t expecting but absolutely loved and devoured. The forth book in this series is just as amazing as the first three and I just want more. W. Ferraro has a great writing style and the ability to capture the reader and makes you just fall in love with the characters. You can’t help but love every moment of her books. This is a 5-star AMAZING read!
I live in New England with my young family. I’m a stay at home mom to two very active children. For all of you who are familiar with the stress of this job, I decided to complete an item on my bucket list and write a book. When I’m not writing, you will find me cooking, reading, shopping or being silly with the kids. In my opinion, one of life’s greatest pleasure is being able to get lost in a book.
I wish you all happy reading and hope you fall in love with the men of Hamden.
